Mandy went away this weekend to Puerto Vallarta on a “Girls” trip. Avery and I missed her so much but we had a great time too. On Saturday we went down to Sargent for Tom’s birthday party. Tom & Lisa’s kids, Laci and Kirby played with Avery while I visited with the crowd. She had such a great time playing kickball that she completely wore herself out and it wasn’t 10 minutes after getting into the car to head home she passed out for the whole trip. Uncle Matt came to stay with us on Saturday night and we hung out and ordered Chuy’s and watch TV. Sunday Avery and I went to Aquarium World to check out the fish and the latest aquarium gadgets. She really loved seeing all the little colorful fish swimming around in all the tanks. She kept pulling me to look at the next one. On the way home we stopped at the park and played on the swings, slide and monkey bars. She was having a great time but it was way too hot to stay out. We really had a good time but we(I) can’t wait for Mommy to come back home and change a dirty diaper or two.
